Default T-56 or even a 5 speed that'll take 1000 rwtq?

I'm building a big-turbo engine and need a kickass manual to back it up. Any suggestions?

Was looking at a TKO version 2 from X2C, but they are out of business.

Actually, this looks like the best deal, yet. A TKO that is good for 900 hp and is in a car running 154 mph for only 2 grand! Check it out:

They are not cheap, but it will definitely take a beating having all billet internals and hardened parts.

lenco has many different versions they have there all out race types then they have there streetable ones you just have to tell em your app then go from there i know they will hold alot better then a t56 and run you alot less then one that is suppose to be built my last t56 cost over 5k ND DIDNT EVEN MAKE A WHOLE SEASON BUT THEN THAT COULD JUST BE MY LUCK THEY WORK FOR SOME PEOPLE AND OTHERS THEY DONT if you dont mind a little fab work but of course by now they probably have one that will work with the your app i put one in mine and love it i went through 3 t56 that were suppose to be built and im then i switched and on my 3rd season with no probs yet hope this helps but dont let me make up your mind keep asking around give em a call talk to them then go with what YOU want and what YOUR most comfortable with and see if someone else has one never hurts to drive one and see what its like if there is one in your area..

ctucker, I've got a guy with a jerico in my area, but none with a lenco. I'll give 'em a call. Thanks for the helpful response.

If your really planning 1000+ RWHP. Look at the G-force (GF-5R) 5 speed http://www.g-forcetransmissions.com/tran_gf5r.asp

Its rated at 1300 HP. I put one in my Procharged 68 Camaro (800+ HP), works great.

Has staight cut gears, (you choose all ratios) NO syncros, and with the V-gate shifter its very fast. Like a Prostock.

Bill.
