Hey I'm probably getting a bone-stock '98 a4 t/a, and i was wondering what the 0-60 and/or 1/4 mile time would most likely be,, i've seen a big range of answers over the web and figured you guys probably have some more accurate info...thanks

My bone stock time for my 2000 Formula A4 3.23 gears was 13.47 at 103.50.
EDIT: this was on the stock Goodyear GSC's 245/50/16 tires.
Don't know the 0-60 time (never really cared much about that), but a Trans Am will be a little heavier so I'll guess 13.50-13.70 if it has the optional gearing and is 100% stock and can be launched right.

A lid made a tenth of a second difference on my car.
A cutout should also be good for a tenth if not more...

0-60 really doesn't mean much in the real world, looks good in car rags I guess, but the usual 0-60 times I see are around 5 seconds give or take a tenth for our cars.

Stock on crapy street tires i ran a 13.8 and 5.3 0-60
on bfg dr i got it down to 4.9 0-60 and ran a 13.5 so i just couldn't get traction with my street tires

My 2000 SS A4 ran a best 13.24@104
with a 1.99 60ft on stock tires(everything)
And ran 0-60mph in 4.6
With a higher stall convertor this thing goes pretty crazy on the launch. Best mod for my money, right behind the Nitrous system!
All those times seem like a long time ago. Who is still stock anymore????
