Default help out the newbie

i am about to purchase a low temp stat do you guys recommend a 180 or 160 stat i have a cat back exhaust, intake lid, smooth bellow, and throttle body bypass. i dont know if the more mods you have the cooler it should run? i live in New Mexico so there is no such thing as cold weather down here. thanks.

Go with the 180.

160 will end up getting you in the high 170's and low 180's in high heat regions

What year is your car? My owners manual claims mine came with the 180.

i have a 98...i didnt even think about checkin the manual....haha
