Phucen Clutches. 422 Delema
Damn clutch,
Well my second spec 3 has failed (imagine that) .
At least my car and my legs are still intact.
The 1st spec failed in a month so I sent it back with the flywheel and they sent a new one with a differant flywheel.
It has held for 10k on motor but it wouldn't hold the spray 100 TNT.
Now it's toast and needs replacing.
I dynoed the car 3 weeks ago and got 526rwhp actual 530 tq.
With the NOS I can jet up to 200 TNT safely (fuel, clutch, tranny, ect.)
So I'm lookin for a clutch the can take a beating.
I have 4 in my sights.
1. Mc Cloud dual disc, I hear in is drivable and will hold hp, but I have friends that have broken them launching relatively quickly.
2. Spec stage 5, I hear it is not a very streetable clutch and sqeels.
I also hear horror stories about spec's coming apart.
3. Spec stage 4, do you guys think it will hold??
4. Textralia, I am leaning in this direction.
When I bought my Spec 3 everyone was raving about it then, and look at the reports now. Reports on here say it's very drivable.
Also thinking about the new flywheel that comes with it as a positive.
Lightweight steel would be good.
Is there any one running 700-800hp range that could helpa brother out.
The clutch buying decision is always a roll of the dice.

As far as the Spec 5 goes:
I have a crazy drag friend that has put NOS on everything from a dirt bike to a lawn mower and he said it wasn't very streetable and pulled it out.
I'll put it in if it is the only thing that will hold, I get used to things pretty quickly.
Down here in south Florida traffic is a real bitch and I'd hate to have a uncooperative clutch on my hands.
