Default synthetic tranny fluid for rebuilt t-56

hey guys i just recieved my rebuilt tranny from a performance shop. its been upgraded with upgrade synchro kit for d&d perfomanc, steel 3/4 fork, new 3/4 gear assembly, billet keys, etc. Now my question is that is it ok to use synthetic tranny fluid on a fresh rebuilt. My initial plan is to use vavoline dextron 3 atf for the 500 miles breakin and then use redline d4 atf synthetic oil. i've been searching the boards and i've seen alot of mix reviews of using synthetic oil on manuals. Alot said (including tranny shops) said not to use them cuz it creates excesive wear on the blockers and synchros, while many others (including other reputible tranny shops) used synthetics and they had no problems. so now im asking u guys Should i use redline synthetics or i should stick to regular dextron 3 ATF.
