Torque Management
Well, im running consisant 12.4 @ 109 with my current set up N/A, i was wondering if i got rid of TM what could i expect to gain? Also, what would be advantages of no TM when im using nitrous?

Have you helped yourself whilst waiting? What have
you learned from searching so far?
I don't favor removing TM and think the trans as
stock isn't up to the abuse. For nitrous I think you
should not spray through the shifts and then TM
is no different. If you made it a more sensible torque
reduction, by programming, instead of simply zeroing
things you could have a compromise that works. I
pull out about 40-60 lb-ft through the shift and don't
even feel it.

If you let it have its way, it will slam timing back to -10
degrees and take a whole lot more than that (trying to
pull 30% or so and overshooting the mark most heinously).
Reducing the amount it takes out, at the delivered torque
-> torque reduction it wants to make, is how to train it
to play nice.

I don't want to hijack anyone's thread, but I've been wondering about it too. I'm going to see how long my stock-ish tranny will hold up to my 4000 stall going in soon. I'd like to take out enough TM that it doesn't affect how the stall works, but doesn't overly tax the transmission.
I already have a good shift kit (custom), with 3.73 gears. It shifts really quickly, with almost no lag. It doesn't ever "slide" into gear like it did stock. Gomer is the one who's going to do my converter tune, with HP Tuners. Is there anything I should let him know about TM.
Car is NA, Bolt-On, BTW.
