SES light....possible causes? 
what are the possible causes for an SES light coming on....and whats the best, cheapest way to diganose the problem?thanks for any help

well on my 02 i have a Service engine soon light and a check engine soon light (or somthing like that) the check engine light are emission related stuff (common problems) and the ses light are more serious problems. i don't know if a regular OBD 2 scanner would work for the SES as it does for the check engine light. but it might be worth your while to go up to your local parts store and askt hem to check it most places will do it for free.

go to autozone and ask them to scan ur car for codes cuz u have a ses light on. see what they say and then get back to us. asking us what the light means is like asking what the meaning of life is... at this point, we just dont know.
