Default Just swapped out shifters...

Just put a Hurst from an SS in my Z28. When i tested it out i noticed that there is a more than noticeable vibration while in third gear.
Is this normal for the Hurst? Or is it something that i should be worried about?

I notice the same thing, if it really bugs you, and you have an aftermarket shifter handle, you can put a piece of rubber between the shifter handle and the shifter itself to help dampen some of the vibration.
Other than the increased noise there isn't anything wrong with the trans, shifts fine, no grinding popping out of gear or any of the other things that usually portent a trans failure, IMO it's the lack of the rubber dampner that allows more noise to be transmitted

Hmmm. I used the stock stick though. Could it still only be that?

Well the stick (stock) did vibrate a good bit, so I'd say it was normal, unless you have it popping out of gear, grinding, etc etc
