Edelbrock Victor Series LT's are not Stainless Steel.

Edelbrock Victor Series LT's are not Stainless Steel. I just ordered a set of Edelbrock Victor Series LT's off of Summits web site, and found out that even though the catalog and internet page advertise them as being stainless steel, they aren't. They are steel with a ti-tech ceramic coating. Summit stated that it is a misprint, and they working on fixing it.

I quit buying from Summit after one "misprint" too many.
It just wasn't worth the hassle having to keep sending
stuff back, and wait for the reimbursement. At least at
the not-so-local speed shop if it ain't right, I can see it
and not buy it.

I am not saying this to be a dick, but if you would have searched on the site first, you would have found out that they are not stainless. I have them on my 2000 Camaro. They are a high quality header for the money. I got rid of Pacesetters for these. Much better quality.

I don't see how a 80 series Flowmaster will hinder performance. I honestly don't. I've seen the insides of these things there is almost nothing to them! I guess if you were to have a muffler that basically is a pipe through a large encasing then I could see the difference, but I still pulled 441 hp and 400 trq with the 80 series. I doubt that they really make that much of a difference.
