Anyone already gone this route? Use 69 fender SS emblems in place of current ones? I found some polished stainless ones as well on ebay. You think the white paint in the 69 emblems will clash? I dont have any white on my car.

I was thinking I'd go with the 69 fender emblems on the fenders and the rear panel and this polished bowtie for the rear panel as well

I don't think the white would look as good as chrome or polished...Did you ever think about the spinner premium designs ones that look chrome with the arcylic over it to protect it?

Well thats basicly what the ebay links are. Laser cut stainless polished same as spinner. I think the 67 Impala SS letters look nicest but they're still white inside the chrome.

Can you take the body molding off? Whats under there? Is it smooth panel or is there a body line?

Funny, Ellis and I were just talking about these the other day...I was thinking of doing something like that with my car and the Chrome. I think they would look Sweet and he said the actual chrome inserts would be better than the vinyl...I was originally looking at the Black Reflective Vinyl for the rear inserts until he told me the Chrome would be better

I didnt find any chrome ones only the polished stainless. Or are the acrylic ones chromed? Not sure I'd like acrylic though. I'm still thinking about old schooling it. Not sure if I like the 69 396 SS letters or the regular 69 SS letters or even the nova SS emblems arent bad either. H4620 or H6810 at year one. Looked at the 67's but they are to fat looking I think. Was gonna use 932n for the camaro insignia next to the SS on rear panel. Or the polished stainless ones, just dont know yet. Dont have any grill options with having to have a front plate.

Polished stainless is the one I was thinking of..There sure are a lot of choices of all the SS emblems...I guess you'd just have to go with whatever you like...

Yep waffled for it a bit and then bought the laser cut polished ones. They're adhesive as well so no drilling or modifying. We'll see how they look. If I dont like them I can always sell them and get the Year One stuff.
