Don't be so quick to ditch the TR55's. They are an excellent plug! I'm sure your issues are somewhere else. Maybe you cracked a plug, plug wire not on all the way, etc. etc.

My guess is the headers have caused a slightly lean condition and the incorrect AF ratio is the problem,if you cracked the porcelin of one of the plugs you would see a misfire code, a tune would definetly help but in the meantime just give it a couple hundred miles of normal driving to get the LT trims in line and see how she does.

I tried the TR55's and wasn't impressed. Car came with Denso plugs. Went with Denso Irridium. Car runs great.

Looking at your sig I see no headers,or NOS which is why most peeps use the TR's. A lot of us that have both swear by the TR's.

I think your having problems elsewhere if your having problems with NGK-TR55's. I have them, along with stock plug wires and the car runs great.

it wont hurt to give it another look over, i agree with redneck. your problem more than likely lies in a connection. may try pulling each wire off and reinstalling all together.

Rather than scrap the TR55's all together, I'd replace the #1 and #8 plugs and test and replace, if necessary, the accompanying wires.

Yeah, when I put the TR55 IX's in I used Taylor Spiro Pros to replace the stock wires. Threw on some 100% Silicone heat shields too, but with coated LT's, it's actually cooler under the hood than it was with the stock exhaust.

Dang, he's cheating himself out of a lot of power, and risking detonation. I run 93, often with octane boost.
