Default over the valve cover plug wires...

can anyone tell me were the best place is to get a good set of these. my wires got too close to my headers and melted. i just want to be done with that problem and get some ones that run up and over the valve cover. does any one make a pre-cut set for a 96 trans am. i know that thunder has the universal one that you have to cut, i would rather just have one that is already made so that i can just install it with no worries.
Thanks

Get the ones with the heat shield. They don't come with looms, so you'll have to get those seperately, from like thunderracing.com. I have Made 4 You wire looms. The spark plug wires also come with a coil wire.

Getting the over-the-valve cover kit and heat shields won't prevent your wires from melting again. That's exactly what happened to me. You just have to be extremely careful where you place the wires.
As an added heat reducer, you can also get heat sleeves for your headers too.

Which kit did you guys get from Thunder Racing? The one that mounts directly to the top of the VC, or the vertical kit?

i have the thunder racing kit and i didnt cut any of my wires, i simply pulled all the wires together in a place where they wont get in the way of anything and it works great.
