PCM Diagnostics & Tuning - ses1153- insufficient switching.....

i checked an retighten the bolts and nuts by the headers collector.reset the pcm and after 30-40 miles it came back on. do i need to replaced the 02 sensor on the passenger side pre cat? it got only 29000 miles. btw it is 01 sierra ,5.3,headers no air injection gibson, gibson exhaust,hpp3, 180 hypertech thermostat, k/n fipk. what could the problem be? please help.

Before spending $ on a new O2 I would swap the left and right sides and see if the other bank shows the problem. If it stays on the same side then something else is wrong. If it switches then you just need to buy a new O2.

That's good advice, but you O2s should still be under warranty. The switch time is 100mSec so if they get sluggish you set a DTC.
