Yours have been polished once from what I remember and are kind of yellowed. Was gonna try the whistler mod and see if I like it. If I dont I have mine originals to fall back on. New OEM's are 251 /peice but after market new ones are like $145 unless you get the euro black chrome style or halos. I'll check and see what the lenses are going for. If I can replace them for reasonable money then maybe. Hey where'd the vette go from your sig?

Well I did a half *** polish on one of them but yes they are not in perfect shape which is why I asked what you were doing with them If you can find lenses let me know I wasn't aware they were available.

Trying to find them, doesnt look good though. Will hit up salvage yards on the phone tomorrow and see what I can find. I'll let you know if I find some cheap oem replacements

Well the vette went bye bye....haven't really announced it because I just posted a thread about keeping it. A guy out of the blue from Z06.com sent me an email and good offer so I sold it. I bought the wife a low mile loaded 328i sedan and am having fun sprucing it up. (no performance mods though I'm not spending 500 bucks for 3rwhp!!!) If everything goes OK the next year to year and half I'll get another C5 or maybe a C6 if the prices come down to 30k by then. I still owed a bit on the vette now I just owe a little bit on the Z28 and the wife has given me the go ahead to put a roll bar and mod her "other" car

Hey I found "used" globes for $75/side. They get $150 per side for the whole thing, headlights that is. Let me know if you want the contact info Bob. They're in Ohio So maybe it would be cheaper for you to buy aftermarket lenses and switch the globes. Not sure what I'm gonna do yet. Thinking about the whistler mod or the black euros.

I'm going to do the ones from Era, any used ones are going to have pitting and hazing. I'll just buy the era ones then polish my stock ones and sell them on ebay. I'd probably give them to you for 75 if you wanted something to play with, I'd have a hard time putting 150 worth of lights into the oven. But I'm a wus like that

Ah, ok. I'm waiting to hear back from him on a price matching question I asked him.
The buy it now is 112 and shipping is $48, starting price is 109. I looked at those as well but I'm not sure. ... waffling bad over here

OK found a product to polish your lenses back to new looking. Might try it. I've been reading about fittment issues with those headlights.

yea I hear you there. I found another polish that gives you a little more per bottle so I bought it. Its a three step system. I'm gonna whistler mod mine and polish them up and see how they turn out. I know for $390 delivered I can replace the headlights and tailights with used "good" parts if I have to. Not really looking to go aftermarket just yet. I'll try either nightshades or I found a some 35% sticker film for the tails
