What exactly is wrong with the ARP head bolts and "cometic gasket" combination? Curious becuase thats what I'm using on my stroker. So the the 6.0 head gaskets would be a better combo under boost?? The exh gaskets are required also for a "boosted" motor?

Some people have had issues with Cometics leaking. Others say to re-torque them & they are fine. Which is what I did....excuse me, witch....and I haven't had any leaks yet. I think they are basically hi-$ versions of the GM MLS gaskets.

There is another gasket with a steel (?) ring around the cylinder that I would use if I was planning to run a lot of boost.....the brand name escapes me now. But they cost $200+!

Thanks for the info...what about exh gaskets? Better off using the #12558573 gaskets over the metal stockers I've had zero issues with over the years?

Cometic come out with a new gaskets thats suppose to help with extremely high boost so you dont have to o-ring the block.. Suppose to save people a **** load of money.

you can use the re-studs and their suppose to hold a little better. The bolts "should" be replaced after one use.

That's the compo I ran. Pulled the heads twice and re-used the gaskets. It will being running boosted for over 2 years with no issues or leaks.
