Is the driveshaft lenght the same for athe automatic trans as the manual 6 speed in 98-02 F-bodies?

It is actually the same length from 1983-2002, regardless of A4 or M5/6.

I was going to go with a used Inland Empire 82-02 F-body alum DS but in order to save a few $, I'm trying to adapt an F-body DS to my TKO/Supra (plus I haven't heard from the seller in a while). Can one of you with a stock DS measure the u-joint center to center distance & post it here?

Hey I have a 2001 z28 m6 with heads and cam I just put a ls7 clutch kit in and I going to put a 125 shot on the car but I have a alum drive shaft . I know there junk but I have a steal one out of a 98 ws6 auto will that work?

Never had any issues with my factory aluminum driveshaft. Went A4 to M6, now to 9" and TH350. Length is fine and works like it should.
