Drag Racing Tech - M6 Drag Questions.....

I am taking my car to the track on Saturday. This will be the first time running the car at the track but I have ran other cars at the track countless times before. From what I have read by searching what I want to do is try and launch the car at about 2000-2500 slipping the clutch because I am on 275/40/17 inch Kuhmo Supra 712's. The questions that I have is what gear should I be in going through the trap? 3rd or 4th? I have 3.42 gears in the car stock. Also what kind of times do you think I should be looking to get under the right conditions with the mods in my sig? What is a good tire pressure to start with on the Kuhmo's? If someone can help me figure these few questions out then I would really appreciate it.

As far as going through the traps you will be in 4th gear, My guess for your time with the right condition I would say 13.1 at 109 Those tires are going to hurt ya the most.

i went 13.147 @109.64 stock on kumhos (711). they were 246 50 16 though. but you can do it. i had my tires at 28 and i slpiied the clutch at about 2200-2300. your gonna need a lot of runs to figure out the launch on street tirs and lots of clutch slip!!

I launched about 2750-3000 and through the traps just into 4th.
