Depends on what you call fast, I have driven one and it was pretty slow.

170 hp 255 tq at 3100 lbs. give or take 100. I'd say pretty damn slow especially through an automatic transmission.

A fox bodied 5.0 would shred a 305 to pieces , I have just such a car . Beware this one though , it's not stock and it's not a 305 anymore , either.:devil:
