Default Pacesetter LT's

Quick question fella's...How good are the Pacesetter LT's? I'm about to order some from TSP for 500 buck coated w/ORY pipe. I can either get them or Hooker coated LT's for 500 buck w/o ORY pipe and get an X pipe made.

if you get a y-pipe you dont need an xpipe. x pipes are for true duals. and pacesetters are very good quality for the price

So I should just bu the Pacesetter's and Y but get an X pipe made to replace the Y pipe? Depending on how it sounds, i'll either dump it with turn downs before the axle or run straight pipes out.

So you guys would go with Pacesetter over Hooker? Have there been any problems with Pacesetters leaking or not fitting right?

I would definetely recommend pacesetters to anyone, they fit better than the stock manifolds do!! They are very easy to install , just kind of time consuming.

As for the Y-Pipe, I'm not sure how much better the TSP Y is but prepare to hear it hitting the floorboard (I imagine the TSP is not much better becuase the headers dont hang very low causing the y to be very close to the floorboard) and knock when the engine torques.

As other people have reccommended to me (albeit too late) either install poly motor mounts when you install the headers, or buy the mufflex bump stop hanger from thunder racing to cure your y-pipe banging issues before they happen

But all in all you can't beat pacesetters for the price!!

Pacesetters, that's what's on my car now, fit good, no leaks, and fairly easy to install.

if you want the true duals with Xpipe, dont buy the ypipe, you will be wasting money.

Glad to hear I am wanting to get a set soon. My friend is trying to talk me into hooker tough.
