Fueling & Injection - How are the 60 pound racetronix injectors in daily driving?

I have a buddy that is telling me the 60 pound racetronix injectors ,think they might be motortron or something don't work well on the street and will give bad idle ,etc and I should buy some low impedance set up like versafueler think its called and go that route.
I am looking to do up a reasonable front mount turbo on my 99 likely shoot for around the 500rwhp range and figured the 60 pound high impedance would be fine.
So anyone running them.Any big problems with them.Is my friend a whacko or is what he says true.I know there are very few problems running the 42 pound svos from what I have heard people have been running those for years. He said something about even with his 42s currently he is under 1% duty cycle.
So need to know sooner or later was going to order these 60s fairly soon.

I have them in my 383. No issues with them when I was running the stock PCM or now (BS3).

ran the mototron 60's on with my procharger, stock motor and had zero problems, run like stock :)

I think some of the people who have problems with the 60#'s might be related to low voltage at idle because of underdrive pulleys. I put 60# mototrons in the '04 gto before putting on the turbo so I could dial them in separately. I had no issues with them. We put them on my friend's 1970 corvette with a 434 motown sbc, and had issues at idle every time his electric fans come on. With the fans off, his alternator maintained about 13.7 volts, but it drops to 12.5 with the fans on. This immediately caused erratic fueling which we could not seem to correct with the Holley commander injector offset vs voltage table.

The 50# injectors should be good for about 90HP/injector, and they idle real nice with proper tuning. Haven't worked with the MOTOTRON's yet. I will be running 85's soon...still shouldn't be a problem. I've sold many 50's that are daily driven...no comlpaints yet.

The Siemens 60's (aka Mototron) work quite well in the LS1 / LS2 motors. They are very fast injector unlike the Delphi 50's which are a very slow / sluggish injector.

The Delphi 50's do not tune easily or behave well for most LS1/LS2 applications especially when using the factory PCM. Delphi 50 sales are pretty much all but limited to the Buick and Sy/Ty people these days simply because of the large volume of copied (free) chips to support them. They are no longer the injector of choice in this size range.

Siemens 60's idle like stock in my LS2...and flow plenty to keep up with the turbo. Great injectors!

How did you get the 60# injectors to work with your LS2 injector plugs? Does some one make an adapter?

the LS2 uses the same EV6 connector as the 03-04 cobras right? many people make the adapters if this is the case.

pm me if you need a source for them.
