The cars that didn't come with ASR but have the wiring for it, is there power going to those wires? I'm trying to find the diagram for it in the Haynes manual but I can't find it. I need to know which wire is which and if there is power going to it. Thanks.

Any reason you couldn't just throw a voltmeter across each wire and check for +12 volts?

wtf is asr? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> not sure what you are talking about, but, for example. i looked into getting the factory fog light kit for my silverado and in order for it to work, it needed something changed in the bcm in order for them to work. just a thought.

asr = automatic slip regulation; it's the same thing call traction control by Pontiac. ASR is just the Chevy name for it.
