When you read the PCM from the car it will be slow (though a USB adapter)! But, when you program your PCM it should take about 5 to 10 minutes only! Also, you only need to read the PCM one time only!!

You can also, make the bandwidth set to MAX from your control panel!

If you need help shot me an email!

The Keyspan units are in my opinion the best units out there as far as LS1Edit and A-tap are concerned. We've never had one issue with the Keyspan unit. The read time is about 5 minutes longer with this unit versus a standard serial port. The write time is a couple of minutes or so (haven't time it).

I assume you mean usb adapter? I you use a keyspan 4 serial port to usb adapter. It works fine with autotap, ls1-edit, my wideband o2. You can them with a single port for like $50. The made for B&B elect(Autotap) seem to work ok. The ones that dont seem to work are Belkin. Also make sure you have turned off any infared ports and sometimes modems can screw things up.

Atleast you can get your Edit to work.My USB adapter can't even read it Autotap works great though.I buy this expensive laptop and it has no 9 pin connector and Edit won't work.I need to get a keyspan for ME edition.

My friends old laptop downloads the program in under a minute.
