Default Anything wrong with cheap cragar wheels?

Hey, I am looking for some cheap wheels to mount some drag radials on for the track this year and am trying to keep it on a budget.

I am looking at these cragar wheels over at summit racing here are the specs

CRR-3985134
Rim Diameter (in): 15 in.
Rim Width (in): 10.00 in.
Backspacing (in): 4.000 in.
Offset (mm): -38.00mm

That should fit... I think ?

and is there anything wrong with using these wheels for the track ? A pair of stock wheels would be the best for me but its difficult to find only 2 for sale and not 4

If they even clear the calipers, they'd stick out about 2.5" past the rear fender. My Prostars with 6.5" bs were dead even with the top of the quarter panel, so with 4" bs they'd be sticking pretty far out there.

ok so I'd probably have to grind the calipers since its a 15" wheel and I would need a 6.5" backspacing, maybe ill try to find a 16" wheel so i dont have to grind anything

Yea, you'd need atleast 6.5", or 7.5" if you want them to tuck inside the fender a little more. Probably the cheapest thing would be to get a pair of factory 16x8s and run a 255/50/16 drag radial. You can get BFGs or M/T from $150-160ish in those sizes.

No problem. You should be able to find some pretty cheap..especially with alot of guys getting their income tax returns and buying new wheels
