I've already taken the time off work. I was disgusted when I saw the small block NA class won with a HIGH 10 second car :eyes: I plan to go out and run 10.0's. we'll see if it holds together for 5 days of abuse

10.0 average will NOT win it this year   He kurt would you mind pulling a small trailer with your truck to the starting point for us? We will trailer mikes car there but will have no way of towing our small trailer there with only one truck. You are taking your truck right? I'll talk to you more about this sat. at the show. Later. Steve T.

I entered the Nova in small block power adder, the truck is staying home. Been testing the engine some lately to get ready for Hot Rod Top Speed shootout in April and pump gas drags in May. After the Power tour we will set it up for the Drag Week event. Should be a great time this year, glad to hear you guys are coming!!

Kurt
PS I have Saturday off.......Catch you on the next trip.

I was wondering if you guys were going to enter this year. :hail: Are you bringing both the Formula and the CE? I'll be heading through that way prob. with another car from Cincy. We should all meet up somewhere and caravan out.

Your going down old man. :jest: Probably have the motor gone thru before then though so... umm... :rotflmao:

Slvrhwk, CE is registered. Formula won't be making the trip. Would be cool to caravan over with some locals. We'll work that out when it's closer.

This is gonna be fun.

So a racer has to trailer every single thing they need other than gas?

427
03-02-2006, 03:35 PM
You are allowed to buy things along the way if you want. Other than that, it must be in your car or in a trailer behind your car with a called out max length/height. They are trying to curb some of the things that went on last year with support vehicles that carried crew members driving along.

What an interesting convoy that must look like.

Starts and ends at Cordova?

427
03-02-2006, 05:13 PM
Yes. Cordova has an area to leave all of the trailers and trucks that get you there, then the race ends right at your truck and trailer.

Does the car have to be NHRA certified? Would I be able to run mid-high 10s on motor for small block N/A without one?

i signed up again. it was a blast last year!! there are something like 5 people from omaha that are signed up for the 12.0 class :)

i dont know that your car needs any certifications but it does need to have the safety equipment for the et/speed you are running. not exactly sure what you are asking but i think you would get called out on it if you were running in the 10's with no cage.
