What exactly does detonation feel like?
Ive never experience it, but i think i can feel a little sputter in the 5600-6000rpms only at WOT. Then again it may just be me, its not enough to really notice, but it just feels like there is a little sputtering there off and on sometimes. The car ran strong as hell this weekend with no isses so i guess its nothing bad

Re: What exactly does detonation feel like?
If the detonation is bad enough that you feel it then 90% of the time you are going to hear it as well. Sounds like somebody just released a bag of marbles into your car.
If the car feels like it is loosing something at some point in the RPM range, then more than likely it is a misfire or poor tune.
Good Luck,
Kevin

It may have just been the road or something because I only thought I felt it once... or i may have a had a slight misfire around 5600-6000.. time to change plugs anyway
