Re: how do you plumb in egr system onto ls6 intake
First you'll need to buy an EGR adaptor. I bought mine from Lingenfelter awhile back but I believe SLP and a couple other places sell it.
You will also need a 1.25" hole saw bit.
I placed the adaptor into it's place on the intake to use it as a guide for the hole saw bit and drilled a hole through the intake.
With the adaptor kit, they give you some blue RTV to seal it. However, me in my over engineering ways deemed that insufficient and JB Welded the **** out of it to hold it and seal it in place. Before applying the JB Weld, I took my dremel and scuffed as much of the mating surfaces on both the intake as well the adaptor.
I let it sit for a couple days before I got a chance to work on it again and that gave it a chance to really harden before being put into service again.
From there just bolt your EGR tube to the intake (the adaptor has the screw hole) just as if it were your LS1 intake.
