Default Need 17/18 combo advice!

I think I'm going with 17's in the front and 18's in the back.
What tire size do you guys recommend for 18's?
I was thinking of 275/40x17 in the front.
I've noticed its hard to find something like 315/40x18's etc...and pricey. I'm not a fan of big wheels, I like a little sidewall on my wheels. I hate the low profile, ricer look.
I just like the 18's in the back because of the tilted rake look it adds to the car. I like the old school stance and looks, but with just the right blend of it ...like I was thinking of doing a 16/17 combo. NO WAY, 16's are too small.
-What tires you think I should run? looking for something very inexpensive. But good quality of course....Sumitomo, Yokahama, Falken etc.
Thanks a lot guys!

z06 17x9.5 and 18x10.5 here.. running bfg gforce sport 275/40 front (120$ tirerack), and 295/35 rear bfg comp ta (bought off tirerack on a close out sale for 120$ ea.) the cheapest they have now in that size is the firestone firehawk for about 190.. i would just got 30$ more for the bfg kdw 2... but for 120 ea for the gforce sports, you cant go wrong.. mine work great.. if i knew how to post images i would

Hey, thanks a lot! I appreciate it! Wish I could see side views of those wheels and tires though. Hopefully 295/35x18 will be enough tire for my taste. That size seems to be available, anything bigger is pretty hard to find so far. Thanks!

Hey, you guys are the sh%t!!!!!! thanks so much, I think I'm gonna go with 295/35x18's.
Do you guys think a 17x7 wheel for the front is too narrow??? I'm not too concerned about the look of it, just the performance/handling end of it.
I can save quite a few by going with 17x7's instead of 17x8's.....so just thought I'd ask, thanks again!
