Unplugging IAT?
I had someone tell me they unplugged their IAT sensor at the track and ran a few tenths better. Granted it was probably a 55 degree day when he did this. Since it would take 3 times of starting the engine I'm assuming for the PCM to throw a code, would this be beneficial at the track to do for a run or two? Also, at what temperature does this sensor assume, if its not plugged in? Maybe i can autotap and answer that part of the question. Thanks.
