I got 3 codes.... P1441(2 times) which is EVAP and P0174 System too Lean (Bank 2)

i am going to be getting (race) headers and deleting the cats and rear o2 sensor.... will this fix most my gas millage issues? also is there any quick fix or cheap fix untill i get my headers?

The EVAP is just an emmisions thing to keep fuel vapor from venting, don't worry about that one. The O2's reading lean, the PCM compensates by dumping fuel. Often, this is caused by a misfire, so instead of the air being turned into carbon dioxide/monoxide, it just goes right through and the O2's real lean. Check for misfire history if you can and see what it says. A clogged injector on one cylinder will also cause it to run lean, causing it to dump fuel. My 97 Z28 is guzzling gas, and I have the lean O2 code but recently did a tune up and want to see what happens first.

you can't fix a motor problem by adding mods. You need to actually solve the problem first. Look into exhaust leaks, vacuum leaks, fuel pressure/volume problems etc etc

Emissions have nothing to do with a motor issue. It must be addressed, and should be addressed before mods are installed. Less variables to deal with.

The best mod for older cars is to first restore them to original running condition...then slap on the aftermarket parts.
