Default O2 Question - Heat protector boot on wire

Hi

Does anyone know if the small silicone boot on the aftermarket O2s is as good as the heavy braided boot on the OE O2s?

I have some new NGK pre-cat O2s to install, but I have noticed they have a much smaller silicone boot covering the wires.

Thanks JA

Should be safe to use. Just tie them up away from your exhaust and you should be fine.
