Stock fans on an LS1 F-body...what temp do they come on? I'm curious about when the stock fans in my 99 LS1 F-body should come on. Anyone know?
Mine look like they're coming on at about 215-220, according to the crummy factory gauge. Does this sound about right?
Stock programming, btw.

Fan 1 on/off at: 227°F/218F°
Fan 2 on/off at: 235°F/228F°
If you change your thermostate you can use the following guides
- OPTIMIZED FOR stock 195° Thermostat
Camaro/Firebird/Corvette
Fan 1 on/off at: 209°F/200°F
Fan 2 on/off at: 219°F/210°F
- OPTIMIZED FOR 180° Hypertech PowerStat
Camaro/Firebird/Corvette
Fan 1 on/off at: 194°F/185°F
Fan 2 on/off at: 204°F/195°F
- OPTIMIZED FOR 160° Hypertech PowerStat
Camaro/Firebird/Corvette
Fan 1 on/off at: 184°F/175°F
Fan 2 on/off at: 194°F/185°F
