Midwestern Members - Need LOTs of help inside

I just got a notice in the mail that says that my license will be suspended 3-08-06 till 03-08-07 for two tickets.......

2-14-04 speeding 26-29mph over in Kendall county

09-03-05 speeding 11-14mph over Wisconsin

I was wondering if anyone from Wisconsin (Shawano Area) if any one has a good lawyer that they can give me a number too that i can call ASAP.....


I like how i get this letter today and gives me less than 7 days to get rides and sht together....... This is nice them bringing up things that happened when i was 17 year old....

in wisconsin the tickets only stay on for a year I am not sure if that is how it goes in il do you have a "POINTS sytem over there or not but here I beilive the wI ticket is only 3 points unless you are under probation thats fucking bllshit that it took that long to get back to you on your suspension as far as lawyers go I got nothing I wish I would have got one when my liscense was suspended you might be able to fight it due to the fact that it took 6 monthes to finally tell you ur liscense is gone I wish u the best because I have been through that shit

That popped into my head, when you find a lawyer, ask about any statute of limitations on speeding tickets.

I think that having more than two in a year is supposed 2 b the only way they can suspend it. Plus, that one in Feb of last year is over a year old anyway, so I think it is too late. Talk to a lawyer in Illinois about it, you don't necessarily need to get that Wisconsin ticket taken care of in order to keep your license.

That's all that is on your record and they want to suspend your license!?!? :confused: A couple speeding tickets over a year apart? I've never heard of such :bs: before. Shit, I've been hit by drivers with no insurance plus other violations and the judges' didn't pulled their DL even for that. Seems like they're going way overboard in your case.....

Edit: Maybe it's because of your age? I didn't notice that part at first.

I have herd of this before but the kid i knew had just about the same thing as me but only suspended for 1 mounth.... and i get a fcking year!!!! im soooo pissed. the lawyer that i use in IL says that i might be fucked the one from 2-14-2004 (2 fcking years ago) might be to old to fight so i am going to try to fight the one in WI while he is trying to take care of the IL one..... I really need some numbers for up in Wisconsin Lawyers!!!!!!
