diferent years ported throttle body

diferent years ported throttle body i just picked up a stock ported throttle body for my 01 SS camaro.
OK it does have the blue spring like the stock one on my car now,
does this mean that its from the same 2001-2002 f body car?
was there a diference in the diferent years?

No, the 98-99 have the same throttle shaft and the 00-04 have the same throttle shaft. The truck TB housing is the same but has a 98-99 style shaft in it that is wider were the cable lays, also the hose nipples are a little different.
