Default Car Overheating, Help Please

Car runs a little hot when just cruising but heats up pretty high when stopped. Fluid level ok w/ no leaks, both fans work. The only thing I can think of is the thermostat. Please chime in w/ anywhere else I should be looking.

waterpump could be going or you could have a blockage in the coolant system or air in it.

Also take a real good look to make sure nothing is blocking the air flow coming in from the front...like a plastic bag stuck against the radiator. We had a black plastic one get stuck up in there..took us some time to figure out why she was overheating. Finally spotted the bag looking up from the bottom one time. We had looked down from the top a few times already and didn't see nothing...but finally saw it..took it out, problem solved.
