let me tell you guys a little sob story. the first and only time ive gone to the track with my t/a my fastest time was a 14 flat. now before you bash me, let me explain. the track wasnt treated, i had cheesey pep boy tires on the car, wrong size (came that way, used..) and literally the first guy in the left lane (my lane of choice) blew his tranny right on the line. my 60 ft on that 14 sec run was 2.7 seconds. the car was bone stock at that point. now the car has proper 275 rubber by kumho spt tires (quite grippy), hp tuners tune, a very mild cam (see sig) , smooth bellow, k&n, high rise ws6 air box, and soon to be pacesetter l/t with a 2.5 inch true dual w/ x pipe. do you think this will drop me down into the 12s? also, what kind of launch are you m6 guys doing to get decent times?

EDIT: BTW, i can remember what my mph were, but obviously in the 100's

I have never taken my car on street tires, but I would imagine a very conservative launch, especially on a real smooth track.

when you go to the track go around the water box, back up (no in the water) clean off the tires with a brief spin, and you are good to go, you do not need to do a bunout over 1 sec with street tires, go up the to line and feather into the gas when you feel her hooked up, that is how i got my 1.86 on street tires :D, plus our track is like glue...:)

Very nice looking car man. Where did you get your xenon headlights from?
You should be running 12s as long as you can get traction.

i made mine. i know theres some other guys on here with some, and at the risk of sounding conceded, i think mine look the best. i put alot more time in mine compared to others though, just ask my girlfriend.

eventually i will go bi-xenon, and completely shave the rectangular high beam completely out. i needed to get some pics from last week, i put about 6 hours into cleaning, clay barring and waxing. it puts all those other pics to shame. thanks for the compliments.
