I have a 2000 SS and have a question about insurance. The title is in my name and was wondering if i can put my mom or dad as the main driver for the insurance, for it will be 1/4 of the price. Since i am still under 25. I hardly drive this car and it is kind of a waste to spend all this money on insurance.

I dont know what the laws are like in your state but I am going to guess probably not. If the car is not registered under your parents name then I dont think they can insure it.

My car is titled in my name but insured under my parents' policy. I am listed as an "occasional driver" on their policy at the advice of our agent.
