Why you should be careful buying used cars
I always wondered why my car dint have the CAMARO letters indented into the rear "Berger pannel" but never really thought much of it. Then when I take it off to paint it I find out why...
Guess it got slamed and they just patched it insted of replacing it, kinda makes me wonder what else is wrong...

Thats not as bad as mine... I noticed the rear quarter had been repainted, the front bumper started to spiderweb after a few months, the passenger side headlight doesnt quite line up , and the passenger side suspension stuff all has grease fittings and the driver side doesnt... like maybe they werent original parts....
Oh well, like I said, I still got a great deal

yeah my 02 with 30k miles was perfect according to carfax, but certain **** makes me wonder, like my stock shocks in the front are totally shot by 35k, and a few very minor details that only someone as obsessive as me would notice.

Those pics raise a couple of questions to me.......first, I can't imagine why they'd patch that up and fill in Camaro for such a cheap part. I've been shopping for an extra to do the Berger conversion, and places want like $25-$50. WTF? Second...how did you drive that 6 months with used car lot sticker on it? I could understand if it was the original Chevy dealership or something *maybe*.....but man, I was out there with the citrus cleaner the first day I had mine.

If you had an accident with your car and it wasn't reported to insurance company or police department it won't come up on Carfax. And in many cases if you didn't have full coverage insurance it won't show up either. The reason is because your paying to have the car fixed out of your own pocket, so its not reported to the insurance company, and thats where some states get there info.
