Well it finally arrived the other day... but...
Well I finally recieved my 02 Trans Am WS6 Ram Air two days ago .
Wow what a slick car I can't stop staring at it haha.
But theres a few things what have me worried.
The Service Engine Soon light is on and the car only has 593 miles. Now the car was from Texas, Bridgeport, now here in Winnipeg,Manitoba where it's colder and a shitload of snow , I'm not driving it it snow haha, it's in the garage.
Anyways I had to drive it down my street becuase the semi couldn't fit down it so when I got in it I noticed right away the Service Engine Soon light was on and it was also doing a ticking noise? which was pretty noticeable, but when it warmed up it quited down a bit and was less noticeable. what could this possibly be? I also see that it's got the original battery as well and the green thing is not lit up so I'm guessing it's in need of a battery as well?

Congrats on the car man, get some pics up!!
As for the SES light, try disconnecting the battery and see if it comes back, if it does take it to autozone or something and have them tell you what the code is so you can get it fixed.
Most likely on a car with so few miles it is nothing to be too concerned about, and that ticking noise you hear is just piston slap, its very normal

Ya for sure I'm gonna take a wack load of pictures this weekend.
So these cars have the famous piston slap to? Here I thought I was gonna get away from that noise haha, my 91 Corsica (3.1l) has that same problem

Did they old owner do any mods to it? The SES light goes on for almost any minor mod. Most common is Exaust work. The O2 sensors that plug into the CATs always set the ses light off. i put headers on my old car and the SES light was on forever. And i cant wait to get my car i hope to have it by next weekend and being in california i dont have to worry about snow. its been about 70 F for the last 2 weeks.

Hmmm Piston Slap
If you live in a warm climate you might think you don't have piston slap. I personally don't think its anything to worry about, it just takes awhile until the oil circulates. Our 99 Low Mileage Z28 does it when its cold. We also have a 2004 Chevy Avlanche that does it. I also have a Ducati 998 and a Aprilia RSV Mille motorcycle that both do it. The company I work for just bought a brand new ford van, guess what, it does it as well. Just for kicks I researched Ford piston slap and found many ot there vehicles do it just like our chevys.

I bought my 02 WS6 last spring and it had under 1k on it. I changed all the fluids in it when I got it home. The battery in mine was also not holding a charge and I replaced with a new AC Delco. I have the same ticking noise you have also. It does get quieter after it warms up and I have been running Mobil 1 5w-40 in it which seems to help also.

My 2001 Formula has over 46K miles and I drive it all year long (including in snow with Blizzak WS-50 winter tires) in New England and it doesnt have piston slap.
