Default Buying new tires tomorrow......what to buy?

I am getting all four new tires tomorrow.....I have a 98 TA still on the stock 16X8 wheels. I want to get something that isnt ridiculously expensive but not cheap ***. I live in Colorado but we only got a month or so of winter left so I wanna go with something that will hook up good....

I had considered the BFG G-Force sport and KDW....the F1 DSG3 is maybe an option but I am not sure if I want to spend that much. Any ideas?

also, is it worth it to pay a couple bucks more for a 255 over a 245?

i am not worried about a winter tire.....if it snows i have another vehicle i can drive. Besides, its been a mild winter here and it probably will only snow a couple more times before summer. i just need something thats good for daily driving and will hook up decent. i would like the DSG3's but they are like 150 a piece....

I highly recommend the gs-d3s. They are simply the best tire I have ever owned in my entire life...really! I have a stock suspension but when I added the 17x9.5 wheels and 275-40-17 gsd3s it totally made my ride feel 100x better. You can really push your car with these tires. Traction is 10/10...wear is 8/10 (I dont do many burnouts or dougnuts)...price is 4/10...I got mine on sale for 195 each.

The GSD3s are some great tires, but if you do get snowed on, they absolutely suck. Other than that it's like being glued to the road
As long as you have another car to drive, and don't drive the T/A if there is even a remote chance of snow, then get the GSDs (if you can find them, I'm looking to buy a set myself, but they seem to be as scarce as an honest used car dealer) they're on back order@ tire rack till April, and seems discount tire doesn't have any either (that might be just for the 275/40/17 size, just saw you have the stock 16s)

if youre concerned with price, g force sports.. i have them in 275/40/17s.. the gsd3s look bad *** but are more expensive, although in no way do the g force sports look bad.. i havent heard a bad comment about them yet.. how long do tires usually last on our cars anyway.. yeah not too long.. so while a gsd3 looks good, its not going to look great on an fbody with tires that small..still get the 255's and save yourself some money and get the gforces.. youll probably need a new set by the end of summer anyway

Especially the DRs, if you live anywhere but Florida or Tejas.

I have them on the Z28 now in 255/50-16 (WR). They are OK, (really good for the price) but if I had to go with another all season tire again, I might try the Avon Tech M550s or the Dunlop SP5000s. Hopefully they would stick in the cold, dry weather better than the Falkens.

I was happy with my ZRIs infact when I went to 17x9 I got them again

245 is just way to small for F-bodies imo.
