How do you take the instrument cluster bezel off?

How do you take the instrument cluster bezel off? The lens is all dirty on mine through inside and I wanted to take it out and clean it. I cant get the bezel out thou it is stuck between the dash steering collumn behind the turn signal. When people put gauge overlays do they just force it out?

You can either put the tilt wheel in its lowest position, and then remove the lever that releases the tilt mechanism, then it's just a question of holding your mouth right to get it out.
Or you can remove the 2 bolts that hold the column up, and remove it, you get alot of clearance that way
