Trunk latch isn't opening right

Trunk latch isn't opening right I am having trunk latch problems. IT is weird. I know the keyfob takes two pushes to get the trunk to pop. Well, now, It makes me hit is twice for the trunk to pop up just a little bit. Then i have to push it again twice while giving upwards force on the spoiler or hatch. It gets to be a problem when other people have to open the trunk or the car is running and you want to pop it. (Turns into a two person job, one to hit button, one to push upwards.)
Anyone ever have this problem and how did you fix it?

www.installuniversity.com has an article on how to fix it, I think you add a spring to the latch. My car does it too,pretty common. I need to fix it soon.
