Default East Side Performance cam Rocks!

I just installed an ESP1 cam. Numbers are: 230/236 .551/.551 112LSA

The guys over at East Side Performance dyno tuned it for me. My previous dyno was 344 rwhp and 356 rwtq tuned at East Side. My mods at the time were: SLP Lid, K&N Filter, Smooth Bellow, Borla Exhaust, Dynatech Long Tube Headers, High Flow Cats.

Since then I installed the cam, springs, pushrods, FAST 78mm TB, and installed ORP's in place of the cats.

I got tuned today and it made 420 rwhp and 374 rwtq. I have to run back to get a graph that's against rpm (the one I have is against mph). I'm totally floored that the car made as much power as it did! I was hoping for 380, but thought that might be on the high side. The car pulled awesome and I'm ordering new drag radials next week and then getting to the track as soon as possible. If I don't hit 11's this year then I'm retarded, lol.

I'll post up the dyno graph as soon as I get one that has the RPM's.

I'm definitally happy with East Side. They know their stuff better than almost anyone else, and their customer service is fantastic. I'm still blown away by the power the car made. I'm gonna need some new drag radials to even think abuot using 1st gear and I'll probably need a 12-bolt before the year is done

Yeah, after driving it today 1st gear is totally useless with the stock tires. Second can get pretty hairy too, lol. Time for some drag radials!

I helped him put this car together and its quite amazing that for very little work it came out over 400+ to the rear wheels, yes the 6 speed 10 bolt helps but still amazing none the less!

This car is retarted fast, and care should be used when getting on the trottle, those stock tires are near useless.

LOL, yeah even spinning like crazy and short shifting the first 3 gears I beat him. But he was just some kid that had no clue. I need drag radials if I want to challenge any real cars.

Awesome #'s Ron.. congrats on getting that car all set. Should really fly this year for sure. Just start putting $ aside for a 12 bolt, you'll need it.

Have to play once I get my tranny swap done

Definately going to do both more this year.. last year I didn't do much at all with the wedding and all. I ordered the rest of the th400 swap parts this weekend from summit, the tq arm and loop are here shocks should be here today or tomorrow as well.

I'm hoping to get to the track for a saturday at lvd before musclepalloza, 2 if need be to make some shakedown runs, get the shock adjustments and tire pressure stuff figured out, and try a launch off the transbrake, right up on the converter, see what that gets me as well. Hoping whatever the car does, it's consistant for the musclepalloza brackets.

I wish I had dyno'ed my car when I still had the 10 bolt and stockdriveshaft in it to see what it did.. I know the drivetrain stuff had to take alot, the driveshaft weigh's 10 lbs more then stock alone, would have been nice to be able to compare to 90% of the rest of the cars that way.

Yeah, I might get ya from a dig, but if we race from a roll to much over 130, Ithink I'd lose, I'll be all done by abut there LOL.

Once I get the swap done, I'll give ya a call, have to have you and Erin up to the house on a sunday or something to hang again... we can swap rides.
