Hey kind of new here. need help with figuring out what my camaro is? Hey well my dad said that its a 1998 camaro. then today when i was checking out insurance quotes. progressive.com said i had a 1995 camaro z28. Is there a distinct difference that i can just look and see if i have the 98' ls1 or the 95 lt1. Its got the stock square exhaust tips which i thought only came on the ls1's. Because if it is the LT1 im going to be a little downed that it is cause i like the ls1's. -thanks

so is it an ls1 or an lt1? get chey hp magazine and this months issue will get you close to an ls1 cheap thats if its an lt1. hope i was some help. the artical was called for a few ponies more. hp #s went form 218.8rwhp to 268.9rwhp torque went to 254.0rwtq to 322.9rwtq car was an auto so you lose about 25% of that to the wheels. baseline 1/4mile was 14.77 at 97.39 went up to 13.85 at 102.39. on street tires not bad. can you say mustang gt killer!

well my sister gave it to me. my dad says its a 98. my sister bought it from a friend who buys and sells cars at auctions. i didnt buy it. it was given to me so why would i need to do research on something that is free?

Uhh.. I don't think he was talking to you, I think he was telling the owner of the car to look on the title.
