Generation III External Engine - Slp Lid...

I have an SLP airlid and it rubs against my hood and I cant position it right. Is there any way to make it so it doesnt rub or am I stuck with it? Thanks!!

im guesing you bought a k/n filter and it said to put that rubber gasket in. that raises the lid up quite a bit, i'd take that off and make sure those 4 slots in the back of the lid are in there coresponding slots.

i bought the k&n before the slp lid, then got the slp lid. had no problems with the lid. like before, just make sure it's in all the slots
