Running a Z06 cam here...very small but not sure on specs. It's a proven performer with FI.

I run a Lingenfelter GT2-3 cam (207/220 573/.580 w 1.7 rocker 118.5 CL). Perhaps not the most ideal for a turbo car, however it works just fine and is very streetable.

do cams in TURBO cars really make a significant amount of power throughout the whole rpm range?

You take MM's car for example he made what 850 with the stocker. If he put a cam in would it be that much different?

thanks for the replies. If i'm going to tear the heads off to put 6.0 heads on
there might as well drop a cam in too!

It would help out alot on a build like his. He is making some serious power thru that.

The Stock Z06 is a great cam for FI, but when you start getting into his level of power, it maybe worth around 50+ across the powerband and can change when his power band starts and stops.

In a nut shell, yes. It would be worth it. Does he need too? Not really. He already makes sick amounts of power.

Don't we all?? =) I just want people to think that it's a H\C car and then they won't know what hit them when the boost kick in...You can only hide so much you know...If it's too quiet they'll still hear the buzzing from the turbo...Plus it rocks me to sleep..

I got it from Bob at EPP. I used to but it is gone off putfile. It was NASTY n/a but with the turbo it sounds a little more mild. I am trying to get some new vids up soon.

TR 224 cam here (see sig). Probably not the best for boost, but I'm too lazy to pull it.
