I got a 2002 camaro Z28 with just a stock flowmaster exshaust i just installed a dump that you can put the plate on to make it stock or take the plate off to run staits whenever the plate is off and i get on it really hard and it goes to shift gears it makes a weird noise coming out of the dump i cant really explain it but it doesnt make the noise when the plate is on whats the hell is the noise

Mine did the same thing at first, but it dosen't do it now. I don't really remember just when it went away. I tune the car now with LS1 Edit and got rid of torque management and stiffen up the shift points, that's the only think I can think of that may have stopped that "pop" sound I use to get. I am wondering if it had something to do with torque management.?.?.

I got hypertech when i firm up the shift if really doesnt do much for it it stills makes that noise I can really feel it firm the shift points is hypertech not that good
