Go GM. I just burned mine (all 4) at the track because I ran 4 gallons of 110 leaded. I got all of the insufficient codes and slow response codes, along with poor idle and fuel trims all over the place. Put new GM O2's in and back to normal.

Somebody posted a while back about a Bosch part, liked it because it had a long pigtail and they could dump their extensions.

I know that on some LT1 cars, the Bosch units caused a lot of problems. I recommend sticking with AC Delco / GM units.

I priced them at around $80 (+/- $5, memory fades <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ) from Scoggin Dickey.

It depends on whether you want a stock replacement or a high performance O2 replacement. I can't speak for hi-po versions, but for a stock replacement ONLY get GM (AC Delco) replacements. Nothing wrong with Bosch. I like Bosch a lot, and TaTommy is one of the lucky ones, but our PCM does a variety of random tests through the O2 sensors as well as real-time monitoring. Some of these aftermarket replacements will sometime cause the PCM fits when it tries to run these tests due to errant resistances and voltage spikes due to those varying amounts of resistance. In normal real-time monitoring, it may not measure in specific increments that the PCM likes to read. If there is a gap in those increments, it can sometimes cause a "failure" and therefore trigger a DTC, which can in many cases lead to an SES light, errant idleing and sometimes stalling when putting vehicle into park.

I've seen this too many times to mention. Someone replaces their stock AC Delco sensor with an aftermarket variety (could be any, I'm not singling out Bosch or any other) and the car still has fits. They bring it back to us, telling us what they did and it now acts "wierd" or worse than it did before. Put the car up on the hoist, swap out the aftermarket HO2S(s) for an AC Delco one(s), and the vehicle runs like a top. It's one of those things where you just shrug your shoulders and/or scratch your head.

Seriously though, I'm not singling out Bosch, they have good stuff. I think the majority of problems with O2 sensors we've had come in were the Napa/Echlin, Pep Boys and Autozone specials. I honestly wouldn't even be surprised if Bosch made them for GM anyway.

I just put two new Bosch sensors in mine and the car immediately ran better. All my readings steadied out too.

I would say that I wish I had gotten two of the ones they list as the DS - the PS one has too long of a wire - it is not needed and has to be all coiled up - plus you pay more for it because of that.

I seem to remember the Bosch part referenced was 13111, which is an OE style rear sensor with a long connector (like the AC Delco AFS108.) I got the impression that the poster was using this sensor as the fuel trimming sensor w/o fooling with extensions. I've heard the same from a couple of folks, that they've had better luck using rear sensors in applications where the fronts have been moved further back (e.g., some LTs) rather than extensions. Haven't followed up on the differences between front and rear sensors and now can't find the post I am remembering.

13444 is the one to use for all 4 of them - no long extensions to worry about - they are not needed.
