Default LTRIM's confusion / headaches

Ok here is the deal. 2000 firehawk

mods: SLP longtube headers, random tech cats, 3inch y-pipe, slp dual dual, and a lid. Also have a hypertech but only used to raise the rev limit NO HYPERTECH TUNING INSTALLED.

LTRIMS are anywhere from +6-12 driving around
and are at +11-12 when WOT. WTF is going on?! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

02's are 890-930 range at WOT.
I do occaisonally get a 02 slow response from Bank 2 sensor 2 code. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Anyone got any suggestions? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Also I have some knock retard. It is not consistent however. Sometimes it is as bad as 3+ degrees and sometimes it is only 1. Sometimes there is none.

Your Long trims aren't used at wide open throttle. However, at partial throttle, they are, and with a +6 to +12, they are showing you are running lean. That also shows with the KR you are getting. The O2s at WOT are OK, though. If you have LS-1 Edit, you may want to richen up your fuel at the lower RPMs on the PE vs RPM table. If you have access to a Dyno, have them put a wide band O2 sensor on it. That's the only real way to check your A/F ratio. Best way to tune also.

Actually LTFT can matter at WOT, but only if you have positive LTFT at part throttle. This is the main reason to tune the car to slightly negative LTFT's so the computer isn't adding extra fuel. Once you have negative LTFT, you will see 0 LTFT at WOT.

So all in all it sounds like you need to do something to richen up your car.

Save the log in a csv file so you can work with it.

Delete all rows that do not have fuel cells 4 thru 16.

Average your Lterms together when in fuel cells 4 thru 16.

I keep mine around -.9% avg.

I wouldn't reccomend modifying the PE vs. RPM table in order to correct your part-throttle Lterms.
Most use the IFR table or MAF table.
