thought you guys might beableto shed some light on the idea of using steam like an anti-lag system when off the throttle or on the line to get it upto speed. also could use it to over boost the turbo!

well have a look and tell me if you recon its doable.

It would make no sense to recompress the (dead) exhaust mixture just to try to extract heat power via steam from it. If you compromise and let some exhaust out, you lose most of the heat very quickly. The energy potential is not worth the investment.

how about using the exhaust heat to produce steam in the exhaust manifold to spool the turbo?????

i think ford are running a similer system this year on thier WRC car but info is none exsistant!
