Default Need advice on my choice of converter

I have a 99 C5 auto, 3.42 gears, MTI heads stealthII cam .224/.220 .581 116lsa. The car ran fine with the stock converter, but i just ordered a yank 3600. Is this a bad choice because of the mild cam i have? should i change the order to a 3000 or 3200 instead? my car is not a track car, i drive it mainly on the street on weekends. is the 3600 too much for the street? also, do i need a tranny cooler? thanks.

Nope. Good stall speed choice. Ive got a way smaller cam than you 212-220-112 and upgrading to a 3600 shortly form a 3200. 3200 is an excellent street size - I want to chase some numbers at the annual LS1 Nats.

I would advise getting a cooler, cheap protection, easy to install.
